Land of Milk and Honey

Lately, I have been missing California like crazy. I think part of it has to do with the fact that I haven't seen my family in over six months apart from a 48 hour visit with my dad and brother over my college graduation. I couldn't be more ready to go home and be on the beach in San Diego and explore foggy San Francisco.

Growing up, I experienced the best of California, namely the warm weather and white sandy beaches of San Diego and the beautiful fog and mist and city atmosphere of a sophisticated San Francisco.

I have been in New York at my college ever since I graduated working as assistant to the Dean of the College and working as a residential counselor to the high school academic intensives. I have loved every moment of my work and have certainly been staying busy for more than one person.

An overwhelming sense of having not enough me projects has led to an abundance of reading and shopping unfortunately. Although, it did help that I did need new clothes and accesories, badly. But I've realized, in this rut with non of the conventional items that go along with ruts that if you're ever feeling sad or insecure put your head down and work. I only feel that when I haven't been working on my own projects.
