I believe in libraries and secondhand book stores. I believe that travelling with someone can make or break a relationship.
I believe that every person should have a passport and that they should use it. I believe in challenging yourself.
I believe in buying a new book for any and every plane, train or bus ride. I believe that fresh-squeezed orange juice cures all ills. I believe in making wishes and throwing coins into fountains.
I believe in picking up one piece of trash every day. I believe in looking up words I don’t know in the dictionary. I believe in talking to people I don’t know.
I believe in stainless steel water bottles and reusable bags. I believe in hand-written thank you notes and postcards, and pretty postage stamps. I believe in flossing and wearing sunscreen every day. I believe in washing one’s face every morning and every night before bed.
I believe in friendships that will last. I believe that everyone is fighting a difficult battle.
I believe that it’s important to put my nighty under my pillow in the morning. I believe in to do lists, plans and bucket lists. I believe in punctuality.
I believe in dreams and that they hold hidden meaning for our lives
I believe in tea and not coffee.
I believe in saying “please” and “thank you” and “hello” and goodbye” in the language of whatever country
I’m in. I believe that everything happens for a reason.
I believe in politeness. I believe in never going to bed angry and never waking up in a bad mood.I believe in communication and not yelling. I believe that every day is a new day and that you should be open to its possibility.
I believe in lying down in the grass and watching the clouds. I believe in long walks. I believe nothing is ever really lost and can be found again if one knows where to look.
I believe that a hard, sweaty workout is the best way to get over a stressful day.
I believe that cats and dogs truly understand. I believe in the restorative power of laughter.
I believe in the power of a smile. I believe in surrounding yourself with positive people.
I believe in following one’s dreams at the expense of everything.
I believe in moving to France after you graduate…. :)
